WHAT CAN I SAY??

I was happily pounding the treadmill 6 months ago wondering if the gym was really for me when Susan from Pro-Fit mentioned giving personal training a go. Well I’ve never looked back. I was overweight... tired... lethargic and generally lacking stamina and I felt 80, not 58 and I knew I needed to get fit and needed direction.

Susan changed all that. I signed up with Pro-fit...”hey give it a whirl, try anything once!!” Well 6 months on, here I am LOVING IT ... LOVING IT ... LOVING IT!! I have lost 64.5 cm and 1st 7lbs. I have had 2 holidays... 3 weekends away... Christmas... AND given up smoking in the New Year. I have stopped drinking lager and now drink wine-soda or vodka, lime+soda. I have given up bread as a daily food and use it as a treat. I’ve tweaked my diet and feel Amazing!!!! So much energy now.

I owe all this to Susan. My hero. We train (well... we laugh a lot) We share stories and she genuinely cares. She never makes me feel inadequate or stupid and is so patient with my wittering. She has been such a rock and I can't thank her enough.

For anyone starting on their journey hope this helps, good luck ...I'm hoping to continue mine for a lot longer as you will see a lot of work to do yet ......
